Dr. BARBARA CAGLI

Dr. Barbara Cagli is a distinguished Italian plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon with over 15 years of experience, specializing in breast reconstruction and aesthetic breast surgery. She earned her medical degree in 2001 and completed her residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome in 2006. In 2008, she obtained a second-level Master’s in Breast Reconstruction from Sant’Andrea Hospital, and in 2013, she was awarded a PhD with honors in Anatomy, Dermatology, and Plastic Surgery from Sapienza University of Rome. Dr. Cagli currently serves as a lecturer in Plastic Surgery at UniCamillus International University in Rome.

Dr. BURCU ÇELET ÖZDEN

Dr. Burcu Çelet Özden is a renowned Turkish plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon, specializing in breast surgery. She earned her medical degree from Istanbul University, Istanbul Medical Faculty, in 1999, and completed her residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at the same institution in 2005. Dr. Çelet Özden further specialized in Hand Surgery, obtaining her subspecialty in 2011. She achieved the title of Associate Professor in 2013. Throughout her career, she has held significant positions, including serving as a member of the Breast Unit at Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital and as a professor at Istanbul Breast Clinic. Dr. Çelet Özden is recognized for her expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, with a particular focus on post-cancer breast reconstruction.

Prof. Dr. SÜHAN AYHAN

Prof. Dr. Sühan Ayhan is a distinguished expert in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, serving as the head of the department at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara, Turkey. He completed his medical education at Ankara University and specialized in plastic surgery at Gazi University. Dr. Ayhan has enhanced his expertise through international fellowships, including a year at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the USA focusing on experimental microsurgery, and training in perforator flaps and breast reconstruction at Ghent University in Belgium. His clinical interests encompass aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, post-oncologic and post-traumatic reconstruction, and microsurgery. Dr. Ayhan has held leadership roles in various professional societies and currently leads the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Gazi University.

Prof. Dr. ALEXANDRU NISTOR

Prof. Dr. Alexandru Nistor is a plastic surgeon and holds an academic appointment at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, specializing in lymphatic surgery and robotic microsurgery. He leads the Lymphedema Clinic and European Center for Lymphatic Surgery at UZ Brussel, a LE&RN Center of Excellence. He graduated from the Medical University of Timișoara and pursued advanced training in hand surgery and microsurgery in prestigious centers across Torino (Italy), Locarno (Switzerland), and Miskolc (Hungary). In 2015, he obtained his PhD in medicine. He completed several trainings in lymphatic supramicrosurgery at U Chicago, Asan Medical Center, Hiroshima Univ., Tokyo Univ. and Kameda. In 2022, he was a Fulbright Scholar at Memorial Sloan Kettering, Cleveland Clinic, and Harvard Medical School. Prof. Dr. Nistor is recognized globally as the surgeon with the most extensive experience in robotic lymphatic microsurgery, having performed over 150 robotic procedures using the Symani robot.
